Urban Designer
Lauren is inspired by places that spark intergenerational learning and connections. At SITELAB, she brings a thoughtful approach to a wide range of projects, including the Story Centered Design initiative in Oakland, the Portola Freeway Greenway in San Francisco, and the 28th Street/Little Portugal BART Station TOD in East San José.
Prior to joining SITELAB, Lauren worked at community organizations in Seattle's Chinatown-International District, the City of Seattle, and Schulze+Grassov in Copenhagen, engaging with design and storytelling in the public realm from different scales and perspectives. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington.
